Arturo's Chicken Sandwich (Recipe)

INGREDIENTS

For the Sandwich

  • Hawaiian Sweet Bread for Sliders
  • Chicken Arthurs
  • Arturo's Salad
  • May Mustard
  • Gherkins

Arturo's Chicken

  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • 1 Lemon
  • Boneless Chicken (Thigh)
  • ¾ cup Wheat Flour
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Salt
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Red Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp White Pepper
  • ½ Tbsp Black Pepper

Arturo's Salad

  • ½ White Cabbage
  • ¼ Cup Purple Cabbage
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Sugar
  • ½ Tbsp Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste

May Mustard

  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard

INSTRUCTIONS

For Arturo's Chicken

  1. In a Steel Bowl Combine milk and Lemon Juice, add the chicken and let marinate for 4-24h.
  2. In a Tray combine the dry ingredients and bread the chicken.
  3. In a Steel Skillet fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes in an oil at 350°F (180°C).

For Arturo's Salad

  1. Cut the Cabbages into cubes.
  2. Grate the Carrot.
  3. In a Glass Bowl combine the Cabbage, Carrot, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Sugar and Vinegar.
  4. Season with Salt and White Pepper.

For the Sandwich

  1. Toast the inside of the Bread.
  2. Add the Mustard Mayo
  3. Add the Chicken, Pickles and Salad.
